We need that leadership breakthrough for our companies and our society, which is called Egowise Leadership. We need it for the twenty-first century because it will determine the innovative capability of our civilization.

Applying the Innovation Circle in combination with the Nine Domains Systems Approach

The 9D and Innovation Circle Training Programme focuses on enabling consultants’ facilitators, leaders and coaches to:

 

  • Unlock the talents and strengths of each individual to contribute towards high Performance Teams and Great Organizations
  • Align the Nine Domains and the Nine “creating forces” of the Innovation Circle so that teams or groups can connect with flow and coherent functioning
  • Create the conditions which will allow individuals to respond authentically
  • Practice relaxing our own ego defenses, so we can connect with the individuals and insightfully work with the group’s specific situation/needs
  • Apply the 9D Approach and Innovation Circle, in learning to read group dynamics, ask the right questions, and guide a group through the phases of translating ideas into meaningful action with positive social and economic results

Sessiontitle: The next generation of behavioural economics. Applying the Enneagram for Sustainable Business and Community Development

Interactive workshop on Transbehavioral Economics and the Enneagram by Albert Kamphuis and Monika Adelfang.

“Behavioural economics is about – figuring out the hidden forces that shape our decisions, across many different domains, and finding solutions to common problems that affect our personal, business and public lives” (quoting Dan Ariely). This presentation applies the Enneagram in the field of behavioural economics. 

By applying Don Riso’s initial work on the Nine Domains we have a comprehensive framework to scope the spectrum of what is important to us and drives us. It addresses how we cultivate an orientation and unlock our latent potential to function sustainably in a dynamic and evolving world. Insight is brought into action through the Innovation Circle©, which is a multi-dimensional process and methodology for individuals, teams and organisations. By using this approach we learn to understand how we individually and collectively leverage our strengths to connect with each other and create new ways of working.

In an interactive way, we share stories from the field, known as the ‘Vortex Experiments’, an intersection of the Nine Domains Systems Approach ©and Innovation Circle©. The field cases illuminate the complex, multiple forces that simultaneously influence and impact us and how to move beyond them.

Workshop Intent

South Africa has an established and continually growing community of Enneagram Practitioners. To compliment how practitioners are applying the Enneagram, focused predominantly on personality, our aim is to emphasize aspects of the Enneagram, which will deepen and provide additional application opportunities for personal development and change in groups, teams, and organizations.

In collaboration with Don Riso, Russ Hudson, Albert Kamphuis and the Nine Domains Group we would like to position the Enneagram from a Change Management, Innovation and Sustainable Growth Perspective.

We are committed to deepening your personal experience of the Enneagram. Whether you‘re studying, teaching, or coaching the Enneagram, this workshop will provide you with more practical application possibilities.

During this two-day workshop we will:

  • Experience applying Egowise Leadership and working with the Enneagram Levels of Development which has applicability for managing individual, group or system change and transformation.
  • Bring attention to your predominant focus, response pattern and innate talents as facilitator when working with others.
  • Introduce practices which realign your intention to your innate talents. We will practice, deepen the practice and continually experience opening up and holding a more conscious space for yourself and others

Content

This workshop is focused on the experiential. This includes applying Egowise Leadership, the Process Enneagram (InnovationCircle), Triadics, Integration of the Centers together with the Levels of Development.

The take home materials from this retreat include the 9 Transcriptions of Egowise Leadership. This is based on the book by Albert Kamphuis: Egowise Leadership & the Nine Creating Forces of the InnovationCircle; and a Riso Hudson Levels of Development Pocket Guide.

Experiental Process

To lead the facilitation and hold the space, Albert Kamphuis will be facilitating the workshop and at different points during the programme he will c0-facilitate with authorized Riso Hudson and Nine Domains facilitators.

The experiential process focuses on awareness of the dynamics of your personality. The exercises will give you plenty opportunity to ignite changes in your awareness and similarly within groups or teams.

We would like to introduce a holistic and impactful approach to working in an Egowise way with yourself and with others.
